Terms and Conditions
Effective January 1, 2026
J&L Yuma Concrete and Masonry, yumaconcreteandmasonry.com, info@yumaconcreteandmasonry.com
Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the J&L Yuma Concrete and Masonry website and any work you ask us to quote or do. By using this site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the written estimate or contract controls for that job.
What we do
J&L Yuma Concrete and Masonry is a masonry contractor in Yuma, AZ. We also do concrete work for homeowners in Yuma and the cities around it. Our services include foundation repair, brick and block walls, retaining walls, chimney and fireplace work, stone veneer, pavers, walkways, outdoor kitchens and repair and restoration of older masonry. You can read more about our crew on the about page and see our services from the home page.
What's written on this site is general information about the trade. It isn't a quote and it isn't advice for your particular property, because every job depends on what we find once we see it in person.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and you're under no obligation to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, so it covers the work it describes and nothing more.
Sometimes we find something once the job is open, like damaged block, a weak base or soil problems that weren't visible before. If that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, explain it to you and get your approval before we go ahead with the extra work.
An estimate stays good for the time written on it. After that, material costs and our schedule can change, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you when you book. Dates are our best plan, not a promise, because weather, material deliveries, permit timing and site conditions can move them. If something pushes your start or finish date, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You're responsible for giving our crew safe access to the work area and for letting us know about underground lines, sprinklers or anything else we should avoid before we dig.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work done up to that point, as your written estimate or contract states.
Payment
The payment amount, any deposit and when each payment is due are set out in your written estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is brought current, and you may be responsible for reasonable collection costs where Arizona law allows them.
Warranties and disclaimers
We stand behind our work, and we want you satisfied with it. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it. Any specific written warranty for your job is the one in your contract, and it covers only what it says.
No warranty covers damage from things outside our control, such as ground movement, flooding, tree roots, heavy vehicles on surfaces not built for them, changes or repairs made by others, or normal wear. Concrete and mortar can show small hairline cracks and some color variation as they cure, and that's normal for the material, not a defect.
This website and its content are provided as they are. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Arizona law allows, J&L Yuma Concrete and Masonry isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property or lost income, arising from our work or from your use of this site.
For any claim about a job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first so we can talk it through and try to fix it directly. Most problems get settled that way.
If we can't work it out, we each agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Any lawsuit that follows will be filed in the courts of Yuma County, Arizona.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or contract unless we both agree in writing.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about these terms or a job, call us at (928) 271-5129 or use our contact page. We're available Monday through Sunday, 7 AM to 10 PM.
